Images
Background Remover: cut-outs from photographs, returned at the resolution you uploaded. The work is done by a segmentation model on a graphics card on our own server; the photo is held in memory and discarded once the result reaches you.
3D printing
4B Engraver: utilities for the workshop side of our projects: preparing, personalising and batch-marking printed parts. Models are processed on our server and deleted automatically after 7 days.
Design
WordCloud Studio: visual output you can print, cut or publish, exported at any resolution or as vector. It runs in your browser.
Utility
QR Studio: QR codes for links, WiFi, contact cards and payments, plus retail and logistics barcodes with their check digits worked out. Everything is generated in your browser and the content sits in the code itself, so there is no redirect to expire.
How a tool earns a place here
- It solved a real job for us first. Every tool started inside a project at 4Brains Technologies — something the team needed and couldn’t find done well.
- It can be free without a catch. QR Studio and WordCloud Studio run entirely in your browser, so using them costs us nothing. Background Remover and 4B Engraver run on our own server, and the few ads on these pages pay for hosting. Nothing is behind a paywall.
- It respects your files. Background Remover discards a photo as soon as the cut-out is returned, and 4B Engraver deletes uploaded models automatically after 7 days.
- It stays maintained. We use these ourselves, so they keep working.
